First off, as a long-time user I'm very glad to see you guys back and releasing packages again. I recently had to re-install FSX and WOAI on my PC due to a motherboard upgrade and I installed pretty much all the packages worldwide. I notice now that at many major airports such as LFPG, LOWI, KSAN, and LFMN no WOAI planes show up at all - they are completely deserted. While others, such as EGLL, EGKK, YSSY, YMML and EDDF are chock full of planes.
This is mysterious to me because all of the packages are in the same folder (FSX scenery world scenery and as far as I can tell, were all installed the same way. All the airports are add-ons of one kind or another and should have ample bays for parked planes, but even if they were stock they would show some. My Traffic slider is set to 100% (I normally have it lower), I use Windows 7-64 and FSX SP2. I have turned off the Aircraft casts shadows option. Also, when I use the installer in Expert mode, click on an airline and airport info, I always get an error message:'Could not find file', followed by the exact location of all my WOAI files.
And when I click on Flight info, I get 'unhandled exception, could not find file', followed by the exact location of the first airline file in the series (1Time). I would appreciate any advice. Should I just try re-installing the Woai airline files? Thanks for your reply Garfield. But I'm not sure what you mean exactly by a traffic bgl file in FSX format. Are you talking about the WOAI traffic bgls? They are all named Traffic xxxx FS9FSX.bgl apart from the most recent releases (American Eagle, Nostrum, Corsair etc).
My trafficAircraft.bgl (which I assume is the FSX stock AI traffic) is disabled by FTX. There are various other Traffic bgls for specific Australian airports and a TrafficFTXAustNZairlines bgl installed by FTX. So my question is, what file(s) should I be looking for and should I delete them? How do I know which is a FS9 and which a FSX traffic file? And why would this affect some airports entirely and leave others fully populated? I fixed the problem. In case anyone else has this, it was the mixture of the latest WOAI files with the older ones in my scenery world scenery folder.
Any airport visited by airlines using recently released packages such as Corsair and American Eagle would show only those planes and not show any others. This explains the puzzle of why so many French and US airports were almost empty while others were normal. I downloaded AIFP, used its utility to find all FS9 WOAI files and convert them to FS9/FSX format, then deleted all the FS9 files. What I still don't get is why the latest WOAI releases would be in FS9 format.but at least I know now.

My new AI Aircraft Approach coding for FS9 now uses a base leg approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains. The Honolulu Control Tower will clear all AI Traffic (IFR FP) landing either on 26L and 26R as a straight in landing even though the offset to final is 30 degrees from the runway center line. The Control Tower will instruct the AI Planes landing on either 22L or 22R to fly a left base leg which is greater then a 45 degree offset and then the AI Planes will turn on a short 1.5 mile final. The left base approach to 22L and 22R runways is a 65 degree offset from the runway center line.

File Description: This is a repaint for the Kitty Hawk 737-700W in the modified livery of 'Air Tran' for FS9 (FS2004). The livery has been given some minor over hauls to bring it in line with the South West style of livery while retaining the original AirTran color scheme and style. As we all know, AirTran is no longer an independent airline, rather a subsidury of South West. The plane has been tested in FS9 only; however, may work in FSX, I really can't (and wont) say either way.
All repainted textures have been saved in 32 bit format and the night textures have been redone to include a realignment of the windows /night textures. Installation, distribution and contact details for me can be found in the enclosed TC Read Me file. Enjoy this Air Tran version and thanks for downloading it. GA parking has been changed to where they would normally park and cargo parking updated. Since version 1.2 Gauges Recovery also fix the problem of compatibility from FS9 add-ons which display all gray and without texture!!! DESCRIPTION: For years I worked on Flight Simulator I realized that many people have problems with showing the gauges panel (black screen) or special effects such as afterburner, smoke or line of condensation occurring after uninstalling an add-on or accidentally deleted files of the simulator. In your Flight Simulator X there is a folder named 'Gauges' it contains files 'gauges' representative board instrumentation for each add-on, such as the autopilot, the horizon indicator etc, if you delete one of these files, your panel will not display the gauge that it was programmed. It is the same for the folder 'Effects' that contains all the special effects in FSX, it sometimes happens that some files in these folders disappear leaving your simulator in a situation where you no longer see your instrument panel (black screens) and afetburner invisible.
Under these conditions, you reinstall FSX and lose a lot of time (and patience). So I created Gauges Recovery, a small free utility that will restore all your gauges and effects of origin in less than 10 seconds. With Gauges Recovery, you're sure to get the display of all gauges and effects.
This program does restore the original files from Microsoft FSX FSX SP1, FSX SP2 and not the files from other publishers, no changes will be made to these files. Some people see the gauges all black (black screens), unless FSX is installed correctly. The solution to this problem is to install the files MSVCP70.DLL and msvcr70.dll in your 'system32', Gauges Recovery does this automatically for you. Do not look if Gauges Recovery is installed because there is no installation, the program only updates files in FSX and nothing else. This package contains all new high detailed taxiway textures, ground textures, and all new taxiway line textures. The new ground textures give a more realistic illusion of rocks, grass, etc.
Autogen as well as taxiways, will now look more realistice and 'in place'since they are no longer over a low resolution detail 1.bmp file. The new taxiway line textures ( or taxilines as I call them) make your defualt taxilines look even more realistic. Now you will see enviromental weathering effects such as cracks and holes on the taxiline paint.
And finally, the new taxiway textures upgrade the defualt FSX ones. Every detail, crack, and pebble was carefully analyzed and created with the aid of hi-res sources. Having switched from FS9, I was unaware of the compaitbility issues between ai flight plan files and the conflicts they create. (using Woai files that haven't been converted to FSX.seems to nullify default traffic in FSX).
So I used this program(aifs2.pvdveen.net/?p=145) that repaired and converted the WoAI files and now everything works. I attempted all day yesterday to get FS Flight Planner to convert them, but it just didnt want to budge.
Allows you using the product for up to 10 minutes Addon Converter X Version 1.09 Addon Converter X is a plugin for FSX that makes many add-on aircraft and sceneries developed for FS2004 compatible with FSX SP2 and FSX Acceleration Pack. Many existing aircraft and sceneries suffer display problems with these FSX versions, such as missing textures or missing scenery objects in the DirectX 10 mode. Addon Converter X resolves many of these problems on the fly, thus allowing you to enjoy thousands of sceneries and aircraft developed for previous Flight Simulator versions with FSX. Addon Converter X does not modify any files you have installed in FSX. It performs conversions on the fly as FSX is loading files.
You don't have to 'convert' any add-ons you are installing. Simply copy them into FSX, and Addon Converter X will make any necessary changes automatically.

Ability to fix virtual traffic aircraft that are not in Aircraft and Rotorcraft subfolders. Bugfix: Missing virtual cockpit textures in aircraft with more than 32767 polygons.
Bugfix: Some aircraft parts were showing up as semitransparent. System requirements:. FSX SP2 or Acceleration Pack. Note that while the program will function correctly in FSX SP1 and RTM versions, it will not bring many advantages because these FSX version are compatible with most add-ons. FSX or FS2004 SDK installed. FS2004 SDK can be used with the FSX Standard Edition. At least 512MB of RAM recommended.
